Benevolence Fund


Reynolda Rotary is pleased to announce the grant recipients of the 2017-2018 Benevolence Fund grants.   Each year, contributions from club members to the Benevolence Fund provide support for the club’s priorities including Cook Literacy Model Elementary School and local charitable organizations.  In addition to the grant support for the Cook School priorities, these five agencies in Forsyth County received grants ranging from $1,000 to $1,250 this year:


Authoring Action         $1,000 to support eight, court-referred, at-risk teens participating in the “Just Us” program

Children’s Law Center  $1,000 to successfully advocate for one child, who is experiencing domestic violence between the adults in their home

City with Dwellings      $1,000 for art therapy and horticulture programs for people experiencing homelessness

Exchange/SCAN          $1,000 to support 135 parents and children participating in the “Welcome Baby” and “Parent Teen Solutions” programs

Forsyth Backpack         $1,250 to support the 120 children participating in the backpack feeding program at Cook Literacy Model School
